1. Fertility Counselling - She assists and supports women fertility patients through their fertility treatment journeys by getting them to turn inwards and introspect as a starting point. She provides the patients with effective psychological tools to deal with their emotional symptoms from the treatment, such as fear, anxiety, sadness, confidence issues, expectation management, and grief. She is also there as an empathetic support system for her patients.

2. Relationship Counselling - She has assisted over 200 singles in their journeys to find their life partners. WORKSHOPS

She has conducted workshops with singles, youth, women and children. Some of her workshops were:
1. Two-hour mindset support workshop for new patients of the CREATE IVF Clinic. She addresses what to expect from the IVF fertility treatment and certain emotional side effects. She also provides patients with effective psychological tools in the form of interventions; she conducts activities to demonstrate the usage of these tools in one's day-to-day life and shares her own treatment insights and learnings.

2. Matrimony-Based Workshop for UNESCO's Parzor Foundation – "Me' in Matrimony'. Participants were asked to identify their top 3 life priorities, reflecting on personal qualities. Information on how to reach out to prospects was provided, including role-playing initial meetings with prospects and introductions. Topics such as long-distance relationships, dealing with feelings of rejection and dilemmas in the process were also covered. The workshop enabled a couple of participants to find their matches.

3. An emotional awareness workshop for Bombay Parsi Panchayat run Holiday Programme For Youth (HPY) – 'Emotional Hygiene'. A reflective workshop that got the participants to question themselves on their emotional self-awareness, the consequences of avoiding and accepting their feelings, and effective coping mechanisms to clear their conscious minds of toxic emotions and negative self-talk, so that they could use the power of their subconscious mind and tap into the intuitive wisdom of their higher selves.

4. A workshop exploring the significance of relationships in our lives, for the Federation of Zoroastrian Youth Associations (FOZYA) - 'Nurturing Relationships'. The aspects captured were the need and purpose of relationships, the different kinds of relationships, a healthy versus unhealthy relationships, the building blocks, threads and nails in relationships, and how to build relationships with oneself, others and one’s community. Information dissemination to 130, 16-year-olds was found helpful. It resulted in other workshop opportunities with FOZYA.

5. HIV/AIDS Management Workshops for Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) and related NGOs for Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. As part of the Community Intervention programme, she co-created and executed a life-skills training-based workshop for CSWs to bring about an attitudinal change. Also developed and executed a skills training workshop for NGOs working with the CSWs, having understood their challenges for better HIV/AIDS management in India. Created a detailed report of the workshop content and outcomes. The CSWs felt understood and empowered. The NGOs were grateful for the valuable suggestions in tackling their day-to-day issues.

6. A workshop training senior nurse managers, in Communication & Empathy at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Understanding the nature of the complaints (poor communication and lack of empathy) that the management was receiving, about the healthcare services provided by the nurses to their patients. Then a customised 3.5-hour experiential learning-based workshop was developed using reflective learning, drama therapy and group dynamics, for the nurse managers. The feedback received after a period of time from the hospital management was that they could see the benefits of the training, which resulted in overall better service delivery, lesser communication breakdowns leading to effective interventions, and a clearer and more empathetic communication style by nurses towards their patients and their relatives.

7. Value Education Workshop for Blossomm's High School – 'Core Building'. Developed and facilitated an experiential play-based workshop for 11-year-old school children, on abstract concepts like love, respect, peace etc. Received positive feedback from the students, teachers, principal and parents and was invited to hold more sessions in the school

8. Workshop Facilitation Training for Street Children of Touching Lives NGO for JP Morgan & Chase – 'Sanskruti – Learning through Play'. She led the project by researching, developing, and training JP Morgan Chase employees (as part of their CSR activities) to facilitate workshops for street children to achieve their developmental milestones. She also converted the content into a standardised formal manual containing game-based, therapeutic-driven activities and meaningful insights for the trainers, with detailed notes for the workshop facilitators on executing the exercises. Her psychological input in developing these workshops was most valued, and the manual is still in use in the centres of Touching Lives across India.

RESEARCH

1. Submitted a research paper (under review) for publishing in the Whistling Woods International Journal. The research paper is titled "Authentic Self-Realisation for Self-Preservation of an Actor". The paper uses an interdisciplinary approach of psychology and acting in acting training. The focus is on self-realisation as a means to help the actor distinguish their actual self from their performance self as a way of self-preservation. The methodology involved developing a course which used the adaptation of Maslow's hierarchy of needs for an actor as an overarching structure. Jung's individuation process and Ekman and Sternberg's theories in the development of the activities for the course. Roger's Humanistic approach was adapted to the teaching method, teaching environment and assessment methods. 

2. Embedding Consumer Psychology in Business Strategy for Drshti Strategic Research Services Pvt. Ltd. Providing consumer insights & collecting, identifying, interpreting and reporting research findings, for better service to my clients' consumers. Aspects researched were: Consumer Insights & Cultural understanding; Product Innovation, Evolution, User experience; Human Resource & Corporate Culture; Brand equity, Positioning & Tracking; Shopper Journeys; Communication Evolution & Testing. The feedback and research findings formed the basis of the FMCG Business strategies.

3. Research Studies - Research tools, manuals and interventions were developed to address my client's needs/problems. Detailed research reports were presented at the end of the studies.
  • "Work-related Passion", content creation for Pathik HRD Institute. The content developed was to enable Pathik's clients to gain insights into their passion projects. The manual and the questionnaire are still in use in their 'I Can' Leadership Programme and are found helpful by their clients.
  • Research Report for Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation - HIV/AIDS awareness. Developed and scored a scale to measure the attitude of commercial sex workers to life. Prepared a final report documenting all the findings, from the details of the scale, the research results, and the resultant intervention-based modules executed. Findings in the final extensive report were used by the Bill Gates-funded NGO working towards HIV/AIDS awareness in India. We also won another project from this client on the basis of this work.

PSYCHOLOGY CONSULTATION

Application of psychological theories and principles in different ways across industries. 

1. Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games: Commonwealth Games Association Assistant (CGA Assistant) of the Games Family Services

She was part of a niche group of the organising committee of the Commonwealth Games Collective. As part of the CGA Relations team, she got to work closely with and support the members of the 72 International CGAs (be it Chef de Missions, General Team Managers, Team delegates and dignitaries, athletes and coaches. Her multifaceted role involved participation in the day-to-day planning, operations and facilitating communication between the CGA services centre, the sporting team delegates, athletes and coaches. She was based in one of the athletes' residence villages and closely assisted the coaches and the athletes in getting them games ready.

2. Academic & Education

She developed a Self-awareness module for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) students at Whistling Woods International. The course content involved the students exploring their past, present, and future selves. The modules involved themes such as self-exploration, self-confidence and healing, and self-expression. Activities and reflective questions were provided for each module. She was also invited as an external examiner for the final self-portrait assessment project.

3. Strategic Planning & Image building

Strategic planning and managing networking groups for a UK-based, international networking platform, Zoroastrian Connection Pvt. Ltd. Drew up the vision, purpose, and output (in the way of setting out the different purpose-driven groups such as Professionals, Matrimonial, Women's Wellness, Community Information and Ideas Exchange, and Quiz and Games). She determined the detailed guidelines for the administrators and members of these nine groups. She also facilitated weekly activities for Singles in the Matrimonial group, where she would share individually curated profiles of the 200-odd members of the group, to enable effective engagement, which led to positive outcomes. Due to positive word of mouth, we had to switch from one platform to another to accommodate the growing number of members of the groups.

4. Film research

Short Film 'Mamaiji' co-created with Oorvazi Irani for SBI Impresario Pvt. Ltd. Designed the concept, psychological consult, content development, and post-production work for this socially relevant short film, 'Mamaiji'. Screened at the IAWRT Asian Woman's Film Festival, and The 7th International Documentary and Short Film festival of Kerala' Special focus' category. The film was also screened at Vikalp@Prithvi, FTII and NFAI.

5. Acting Skills, Performance Enhancement & Review

The Michael Chekhov Acting Technique DVD was co-created with Oorvazi Irani for SBI Impresario Pvt. Ltd. Alzeyne determined the content and psychology-based exercises, to adapt the "Michael Chekhov" Acting Technique into a visual medium. She also aided in the shooting and post-production work of the DVD film. Joanna Merlin, President of the Michael Chekhov Association, in New York, endorsed the DVD. Positive actors' feedback on the tools that led to authentic performances. Workshops are still being held in many reputed Acting Training Institutions in India, such as the Russian Centre for Science and Culture, Thespo at Prithvi, Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute, Whistling Woods International, and Film and Television Institute of India. This content is now being used at Whistling Woods International – Institute of Film, Communication & Creative Arts in Mumbai as part of their Bachelor and Master Programme curriculums.

6. Content review
Peer-reviewed research papers, publications, presentations, course content and proposals for colleagues and organisations for the last ten years. For instance, she reviewed the course on confidence-building. The 50-page course review report was found helpful by the course creator.
